Fishbein & Associates Performance Consulting provide internships in sport and clinical psychology for those pursuing degrees in these fields. Our internships provide candidates with a variety of opportunities, including assisting in various applied settings, helping with research projects, collecting data, and doing work on the podcast series “SI.M.P.L.E. SUCCESS STORIES.” Interns will also learn about the mental skills associated with successful performances and will be trained in the S.I.M.P.L.E. methodology. For more information, please email Dr. Karla Steingraber at drsteingraber@icloud.com.

Holly Lueken

Holly Lueken is one of the interns for the inaugural intern program at S.I.M.P.L.E. Success Stories. She is from Downers Grove, Illinois and is currently an incoming senior at Colgate University in Upstate New York. At Colgate University, Holly has spent the past three years on the honor roll for the department of Psychological Science. While pursuing her major, Holly is also a member of the Colgate Women's Basketball Varsity team. When off the court, Holly participates in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and functions as the Sustainability Liason for Colgate Athletics. During her free time, Holly volunteers as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Hotline Texting. She has acquired skills that allow her to aid in diffusing high-stress scenarios for individuals in crisis. Holly’s personal hobbies include traveling, reading, and spending time with loved ones. Her professional goals include attaining a master's degree in Sport Psychology in Europe and thereafter studying to earn a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. During her time working with Dr. Fishbein and Dr. Steingraber, Holly plans to build and expand upon her knowledge of Sport Psychology while simultaneously aiding in social media and technological affairs. She is looking to spread awareness of S.I.M.P.L.E. Success Stories and foster a conversation surrounding important topics of mental health that will help all athletes to perform at the highest level possible.
